This table shows the number of publicly available alternative fuel stations in each state. The chart shows Biodiesel stations, CNG stations (Compressed Natural Gas), E85 Ethanol stations, Electric Charging Stations, LNG stations, and LPG stations. The table is updated daily to reflect everything AltFuelPrices.com knows about alternative fuel stations.
It's fun to look at the data and see where priorities are in each state for alternative fuel development. California has a bunch of public CNG stations, but if you are looking to fill with Ethanol, you are pretty much out of luck. In Illinois, you have the opposite problem. States like Colorado and Michigan are much more balanced in their ratio of CNG to E85 to Biodiesel fueling options. I don't know what all this means, but it's fun to look at!
